ONKS Utrecht

Below you will find all information regarding ONKS Utrecht 2026 (20, 21 and 22th of February)

Pre-borrel
On Friday evening we will already get acquainted with the beautiful swimming pool during the pre-borrel in the cozy clubhouse at Zwembad de Krommerijn (Weg naar Rhijnauwen 3, 3584 AD, Utrecht).
The pre-borrel starts at 21:00 and ends at 00:00, after which the fun can continue into the late hours in the city center of Utrecht.
Entry is 18+, so don’t forget to bring your ID.
Competition
The competition will take place in the 8-lane 50-meter pool at Zwembad de Krommerijn (Weg naar Rhijnauwen 3, 3584 AD, Utrecht).
Important times are:
Pool access: 15:15*
Jury meeting: 15:00*
Start warm-up: 15:30*
End warm-up: 16:00*
Start competition: 16:15*
Expected end time: 20:45*
*These times are provisional and may still change.
Unfortunately, there will be no possibility to cool down.
The pool is easily accessible by tram 20 or 21, both heading towards Science Park P+R. The pool is located behind the De Kromme Rijn stop, followed by a 200-meter walk to the entrance.
There is a free parking lot at the pool with limited capacity. Additional parking is available at the Science Park for €3 per hour.
The pool is a 16-minute (4.6 km) bike ride from Utrecht Central Station, so renting an OV bike is highly recommended.

Food
Due to the late start of the competition, food will be served towards the end (from 18:30/19:00) in the clubhouse for swimmers who are finished.
There will be no separate eating shifts; everyone can get food once they are done swimming. To avoid crowds, please make sure to get your food as soon as you are finished with your races.
The menu consists of a vegetarian rice dish, so vegetarian preferences do not need to be indicated during your registration.
Please do indicate any allergies or other dietary requirements when signing up.
Party
The party will start at 22:00 at Unitas S.R. (Lucasbolwerk 8, 3512 EG, Utrecht).
The theme will be announced soon.
The doors will close at 23:30. For smokers, there is an option to smoke across the street.
Please note: this party is 18+. Make sure to bring your ID, as ID checks will take place at the entrance. After the check, you will receive a stamp on your hand. This allows you to step outside to smoke, but without the stamp you will not be able to re-enter after the doors have closed.
The party lasts until 04:00.
Sleeping places
There is a small chance that a private hall can still be arranged. Unfortunately, this is difficult in Utrecht due to strict municipal regulations. If this becomes possible, it will be communicated immediately.
For now, everyone will be accommodated with members of USZ&WF Het Zinkstuk.
Costs
The costs for this ONKS are the standard ones:
Pre-drinks: Free
Sleeping spot Friday: €2.00
Competition: €8.50
Food + party: €10.00
Sleeping spot Saturday: €2.00
IMPORTANT
At the ONKS, you are free to swim whatever you want.
Only submit times for the events you actually want to swim. The same applies to relays.
